Barcelona – The new Galaxy S6 were finally revealed. On the eve of the official opening of the Mobile World Congress 2015, Samsung has just unveiled its new smartphone: as suggested above, will be released in two versions, one normal and one edge, with curved edges on both sides.

The functions are still limited, just two. A screen off you can access the ‘ Information Stream , which now shows, weather, notifications and news from Yahoo !. A screen on the other hand, here is the People Edge : swiping your finger from the outside toward the center, the five icons appear more frequent contact with the shortcut to call or send a message. If your smartphone is backed with the screen down, the color of the contact in question will illuminate the edge, allowing you to know who is calling, SMS or e-mails. And just put your finger on the pulse sensor placed next to the LED flash to reject the call and automatically send a prewritten message.

For the rest are basically the same: screen qHD Super AMOLED 5.1 inch in Gorilla Glass 4 with 577 ppi resolution and brightness of 600 nits. The shell is made of metal and on the back, instead of plastic that has always characterized the Galaxy series, appears for the first time the glass, always in Gorilla Glass 4.

The processor is an octa-core Exynos 64-bit, 3GB RAM and internal memory will be 32, 64 and 128GB – with no microSD slot for expansion. On the other hand, with the purchase of the Galaxy S6 will be given 150GB of cloud storage free for two years on OneDrive. The player to the fingerprint in the home button is no longer sliding, but touch. Both S6 also support Samsung Pay , which integrates three types of electronic payment platforms – NFC, MST and Barcode – for coverage of about 90% of the current market of mCommerce.

The main camera is 16 megapixel with aperture f / 1.9 (the S5 was 2.2, an improvement of 34%), able to shoot video in 4K; the anterior chamber, however, is 5 megapixel camera with HDR and always f / 1.9 (with a 60% improvement compared to 2.4 last model), wide-angle to 90 degrees. With Quick Room, just double-click the home button to take in less than 0.7 seconds. Among the options, the Panorama function, the Slo-mo up to 1/8, a Fast-mo up to 32x Pro and a function that allows manual adjustments. With Virtual Shot , instead you can create an image 180 degrees interactive, you browse smartphone tilting to one side or the other.

The operating system is naturally Android , here in version 5.0 Lollipop custom TouchWiz interface with magazine and lighter.

Among other features, battery 2550 mAh (2600 mAh for the edge) with charger integrated wireless and Fast Charging that allows to ensure two hours of video playback with just 10 minutes of charging and 100% autonomy in just 80 minutes. The Galaxy S6 measuring 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm and weighs 138 grams, the S6 edge measuring 142.1 x 70.1 x 7.0 mm and weighs 132 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 edge will available from next April 10 in four colors: white, black and platinum for both, emerald green to the edge and blue for the S6 normal. The price has not been announced yet, but is thought to be more than 700 Euros, for the regular version 32GB, and above 800 Euros for the 32GB version edge.
