Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy S4 is spreading in other countries, from France to Germany, but the rollout is going very slowly and in case you are tired of waiting today we provide you with an alternative. Samsung has indeed begun issued the ‘ update for Galaxy S4 Black Edition in the UK and the firmware is also applicable on our national S4 (GT-I9505).

The only difference between the two is in fact the presence of different backgrounds (in addition to the color of the cover), which is probably not dampen your desire to Lollipop. In case you want to install it via Odin you can download the firmware at this address or by database SamMobile. Also know that compared to the German this firmware includes some bug fixes but especially the return of the Silent mode , eliminated by Google in Lollipop (also in 5.1).
