Enable root permissions on Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 … – Everything Android

Chainfire – also known as “the magician of the root” – has accustomed too well in the past and did not want to disappoint us with the latest creations by Samsung, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge .

A few minutes ago, via his profile Google Plus, the developer announced that I managed to create a version of the famous CF-Auto-Root compatible with the two top range Koreans. Upon scripts are available only for the American versions of the devices (specifically those branded by T-Mobile), but we are confident that within a very short time will be issued a CF-Auto-Root also for the international variant no-brand.

The model numbers of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge T-Mobile are, respectively, SM-G920T and SM-G925T . The download links are available on the website of Chainfire (link to follow).

To run the root using CF-Auto-Root is necessary to download the file from the site linked above (it is a file format tar.md5) and install it using the suite ODIN (here a general guide to the use of the program). Once activated mode Download Mode just install the downloaded file as if it were a normal PDA and click on the Start button. Once the installation is finished, if this does not happen automatically, you must restart the device in recovery mode.

That’s it. Now we just have to wait for Samsung starts marketing the Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge (scheduled for April 10). As usual Chainfire has brought too forward with the work.
