After devoting time and resources to the production and the promotion of Samsung Galaxy S6, the Korean manufacturer has now turned its attention to the Galaxy Note 5 and the successor to the Galaxy Note Edge. In the last hours have leaked some interesting information on the two phablet that should be announced at IFA 2015 in Berlin.
According to reports gathered from the site SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 5 should be the first device to integrate a Samsung Exynos 7422 processor, an “all-in-one” (EPOP) with CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and modem on the same chip. The current Note 4 has a screen Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels) 5.7-inch, so the new model is expected a resolution as high. The Korean manufacturer has nonetheless begun testing several prototypes with Exynos 7430 and display 4K , but are unlikely to be used for the final model.
The successor to the Galaxy Note Edge, name Code Project Zen , will certainly have a curved screen on both sides. The hardware will not however ultra high-end. In fact expected a screen Super AMOLED 5.4 or 5.5 inches, a Snapdragon 808 processor, 16 GB of storage, from 16:08 Megapixel cameras, and the inevitable S Pen.
All ‘ IFA Berlin could be announced a third device, or the Gear A. Samsung would have postponed the launch of smartwatch round to avoid a “clash” too close with the Apple Watch.
