Last year, Samsung has introduced a smartphone really particular with a curved display on the right side. The said device is called Galaxy Note Edge . This year, the South Korean company wanted to introduce another device of this kind, but that has a curvature on both sides: his name is Galaxy S6 Edge , recently compared with the ‘iPhone 6 Plus Apple . In this article, we will see all the differences between the two Galaxy.
Display and processor
Being two top of the range, are characterized by some common features such as technology Super AMOLED , resolution Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels sull’S6 Edge and 2560 × 1600 pixels Notes on the Edge) and protection Corning Gorilla Glass (fourth generation Galaxy on Edge S6 and third on the Edge). Both devices are equipped with a Samsung 32 GB internal storage, but here we have some differences: the ‘S6 Edge is also available in versions from 64 to 128 GB non-expandable while the notes Edge has support expansion for micro SD up to 128 GB for adding further storage space. On the back we have the same 16-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and optical image stabilizer capable of recording movies in 4K while on that front we have two different sensors: 5 megapixel and 3.7 megapixel sull’S6 Edge on Edge notes.
Weight, thickness, OS and battery
Being a phablet, of course the Galaxy Note Edge has a body thicker and heavier since we have a weight of 174 g against 132 g and a thickness of 8.3 mm against the 7 mm of the variant Edge of the Galaxy S6. The two South Korean smartphone giant are supported from the mobile operating system Google , but of a different version: Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on the Galaxy S6 Edge and Android 4.4.4 KitKat on the Galaxy Note Edge. For the latter, it is planned to update the Android 5.0 Lollipop . In conclusion, there are two batteries which differ by 400 mAh in capacity: 3000 mAh removable on the Galaxy Note and 2600 mAh non-removable on the Galaxy S.
