A few weeks of release, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are still among the most talked-about smartphone of the moment. The last case that sees them protagonists concerns the photographic industry, one of the most appreciated features of the pair of Samsung gadgets. It seems that the 16-megapixel sensor behind the goals is not identical in all mobile : Some monterebbero a unit produced by Sony, other sensors of different design (Isocell) done in house by Samsung.
This is not the first time something like this happens in the world of technology: if demand for the product is high and only one person can not build the required parts in enough, it divides the supply as you can. In this case, however, the component in question is considered among the strengths of the smartphone, and find yourself with a sensor different from what was expected can not be enjoyable.
Samsung assured that according to his tests the two sensors provide equivalent results in all conditions, but at the same time avoided giving details on the geographical distribution of the two different components.
Holders of S6 and S6 Edge can find out what type of camera you are found by dialing on the keypad code to access the menu of the firmware: * # 34971539 #. Meanwhile, a comparison test conducted by the guys at SamMobile helps you visualize even the slightest differences in the performances of the two sensors.
