It would not be the first time that Samsung uses two different sensors to the same smartphone: already Galaxy Note 4 I was using one of Sony in the variant with Snapdragon CPU and one for one with the same Samsung Exynos SoC. The problem, in the case of Galaxy S6 is that there are different processors involved, but despite this it seems that the smartphone mountains still two different sensors, always branded Samsung and Sony, but without any pattern that allows us to understand in advance what is used.
It does not seem to be a problem of operator, nor of the resort, and as mentioned specifications do not help us. Then let’s be clear that we are talking of only rear camera , which appears to fit precisely in a completely random sensor Isocell Samsung, or Sony IMX240, as witnessed by many on XDA.
