Samsung has explained in a detailed blog post for developers the potential of the issues brought to Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 edge . Basically there are three main services that compose them: the framework that makes feasible to change the subject, a theme editor with which developers can create new ones, and the Theme Store from which users can download them.

Recall that when this new service for themes is compatible only with Galaxy Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, and not with the Galaxy series A or with other Samsung devices (to be picky, the Chinese versions of Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy A5, A7 Galaxy, Galaxy and Galaxy S5 G7200 – after upgrading to Lollipop – work, but we doubt it interests you).

Thanks to the framework developed by Samsung, the creators of the themes will be able to change the following aspects of the system:

1. Lock screen, the background of the home screen, app icons, pop-up notification .
2. The background and various elements of 14 pre-installed applications :
   • phone, contacts, messages, email, music, video, calculator, alarm / clock, S Planner, smart manager, settings, memo, file manager and voice recorder
3. Sounds and some cute :
   • Touch screen sounds, tone dialer, keyboard sounds, sounds of physical buttons, sound button cancels
     (ringtones , alarms and notifications will be supported in the future.)
   • font numbers and clock

Large potential in short, for a service themes that is not restricted only to change wallpapers and icons but that goes to customize in a very profound aspect of the system.

The themes currently available are not entirely exciting, but we have to say that the potential is there, and with the right resources available to developers, especially the theme editor that preaches simplicity from every pore, we think that in the near future can get so many new and more valid items for the top of the range Samsung, and for Future models of the company.
