The family of smartphones Samsung Galaxy Neo usually includes revised and corrected versions of the top range of the previous year, which become models of medium-high, to be positioned close to the current flagship.
It is also the case of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo , which we had given a preview in early June, but then disappeared from the radar.
However, the project had not been suspended or set aside at all and now indeed Galaxy S5 Neo has landed in the price list of a Dutch webstore, which aims at a cost of 429 € .
Samsung strangely has not made any official announcement, not even a press release, the model appeared in a quiet and discreet, however, exists and has good technical characteristics.
The appearance of course is the top range of last year , with the same dimensions and weight, 142 × 72.5 × 8.1 mm to 145 g, but compared to this we find the SoC Samsung Exynos 7580 , an octa-core ARM Cortex A53 composed exclusively of working at 1.6 GHz, accompanied by a GPU ARM Mali T720: a small step back from the specific S5, it was still expected for a smartphone Neo family.
New, however, is also the front camera, which now uses a 5 Mpixel sensor identical to that used in the Galaxy S6 and last but not least even a module 4G-LTE .
The other specifications instead include a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution , 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, 16-megapixel rear camera, battery of 2800 mAh and Android 5.1 Lollipop with the famous TouchWiz interface.
