Samsung estimates the Snapdragon 820 for Galaxy S7 but this will be discussed … – HDblog (Blog)

they are becoming more insistent rumors about the possibility that Samsung may return to using a Qualcomm processor in its next flagship smartphone. We speak of course of the series of Samsung Galaxy 7 and after the latest “confirmations” | New confirmations regarding the adoption of Snapdragon 820 on Galaxy S7 |, there’s still evidence in this direction.

First, it must be stressed that the Snapdragon 820 will not come out of any commercial product by 2015 and then before Q1 2016 we will not see real new top-end hardware company Americana . Having said that it seems that the major manufacturers, including Samsung, are already working with Qualcomm to understand whether and how to integrate the new processor in the future top range.

Given the problems encountered with the S810 and the choice of Samsung is not being used across the board S6 and Notes 5, Qualcomm is moving so much different than last year. On the one hand is announcing slowly only parts of its processor, the other is working closely with partners to understand what is the best architecture for Kryo and act as side temperature, and power consumption.

Samsung is the leading company to which Qualcomm should rely for the development of the processor and the production of the same thanks to the production process to 14nm. This is why Samsung would have some kind of fast track and would be already working on the integration of the new S820 on the next Galaxy S7. If testing will conform to the expectations of the Korean manufacturer, then we will find a Qualcomm processor within the next top range. Otherwise …. Exynos will be the choice. This will be discussed in any case at the end of February 2016.
