Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and notes 5 face the first benchmark – HDblog (Blog)

Presented on August 13 last year, the two new top range S6 + Edge Galaxy Note and 5 have been dealt with the first benchmark . Both use the SoC Exynos 7420 (CPU quad-core Cortex A53 1.5 GHz + quad-core Cortex A57 at 2.1 GHz and graphics accelerator Mali-T760MP8) and are equipped with 4 GB of RAM .

In the first test, Geekbench 3 , which focuses on the performance of the CPU, Galaxy Note and Galaxy 5 S6 Edge Plus get performance in line with those of other models Family Galaxy S6:

The same considerations apply to the benchmark AnTuTu 5 with which the new Galaxy get a score just under 70,000 points, at the top of the category:

Basemark OS II two models can benefit from the contribution of the 4 GB of RAM ranking atop the standings. Even in single-core and multi-core test, the scores are in line with those of the other Galaxy S6:

The benchmark GFXbench tests the GPU Mali T760MP8 returning scores of note, although not in every test higher than those of the competition.

Convincing results with Basemark X and testing of Internet surfing, made with the double Kraken and BrowserMark :

Even if the benchmark is not able to represent faithfully the actual user experience, the picture that emerges It is undoubtedly positive. It’s certainly not the power fails the new top range of the Korean manufacturer.
