Samsung has started the distribution of Android 5.1.1. for Galaxy Note 4 , in particular for the version with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor – while for the Notes 4 with Exynos the update is already available for some time.
In particular, for the Italian public the update is already downloadable from those who have a customized version of 3 Italy , while other variants should arrive in the coming days.
The update brings the Samsung phablet the latest version of Android with all its innovations, as well as some minor changes in the interface TouchWiz made by Samsung itself. You can get the file to be downloaded directly from Samsung, but of course you can always wait for the availability of an update OTA.
At the moment there are no known major problems with regard to this specific update, and in principle you can proceed safely as soon as possible. As always, however, it is always recommended to back up before you start, because there is always a small chance that something will go wrong. Finally worth mentioning that at least some users have preferred to stay in KitKat, considered unsatisfactory because early versions of Lollipop for Notes 4. What do you think?
