Samsung has published on the US information about the Galaxy S6 Active , the rugged version of the smartphone flagship. Even if the page has been removed, the official announcement of the new model seems so imminent. In addition to the design of the device, which will be distributed in the US by AT & T, the Korean manufacturer has unveiled all the technical features, most of which have already leaked in mid-May.
The main difference compared to Galaxy S6 is obviously represented by the frame. Samsung smartphone has played with a rubber protection to prevent the ingress of water and dust. The Galaxy S6 Active has a MIL-STD-810G , and also resists moisture, salt, vibration, shock, solar radiation and thermal shock. There are three physical buttons and Active Key which allows access to the app Activity Zone, take pictures and perform other operations.
The hardware provides one screen Quad HD 5.1 inch , octa core Exynos 7420 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, from 16:05 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11ac dual band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, infrared sensor, heart rate and battery from 2550 mAh. The operating system is Android 5.0 Lollipop .
In the coming weeks should be announced Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus . This is basically a model similar to the Galaxy S6, but with a larger screen (5.5 inches) and six-core processor Snapdragon 808. The Galaxy Note 5 is instead presented during ‘ IFA in Berlin in early September.
