Some users have complained about a problem Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge : out of the blue the toggle data connection, hotspot and private mode disappeared from Quick Settings in the notifications panel.
It is not clear what causes that lead to this problem, but interested users was not possible to find a simple solution. Samsung instead, it offers a drastic:

To solve enough to backup and restore to factory settings. Once the restoration is complete, turn off automatic updates of applications from the “settings”. If you run the root of your device, and you are not interested in a recovery, you can opt for an easier option (which indeed there we assume no responsibility, so pay close attention to what you do):
- Download the Galaxy Tools
- From the menu, select the third option from the bottom to rehabilitate toggle
