Those who buy a smartphone AMOLED knows, undergoes display with deep blacks and vivid colors. For some of these colors may be too saturated but manufacturers like Samsung, a pioneer of the Super AMOLED display, include in their models different ways to calibrate the color range to your liking. Often it may not be enough, and you would like something more to make the colors a bit ‘less saturated.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Notes 4 however, seems to have a “hidden function” that allows access to a mode that further reduces the saturation Adaptive display .
There are two ways to enable this functionality: the first is to install Nova Launcher that, once set as the default home, can be released. To do that you have to hold in a home empty, choose widget and select those relating to “Assets”. Once the widget selected and open the settings, scrolling through the various items, hold on ModePreviewTablet. From here you can enable the option before clicking on a mode and then back to Adapt display, as shown in the video below.
The second method instead sees the use of a second app, called More Shortcut . Even here you must click on “Activities”, go to Settings and select always ModePreviewTablet. Once done, click on the arrow to the right and run the business. As before, you will need to enable video mode to the one already active then reselect the adaptive mode display.
The procedure does not provide for the root of the device, but you’ll end up with a dialog box of the ordinary when you go to set the display mode. What do you think?
