The last update of the app Oculus VR present in the latest smartphones to the Samsung and in particular on the Galaxy S7, is reportedly causing many problems for owners of these devices. In particular, users have complained about in the last hours a consumption high battery such as to affect the overall autonomy of the device. This high battery drain, in addition, would also make the phone very hot, a clear sign of an internal process gone mad that is continuing to work to the maximum of the CPU. To these discomforts was added a certain amount of difficulty in the use of the smartphone, with difficulty in typing, in the management of notifications, and more: an experience of use suddenly sank, seemingly without reason.
Some users report even a drop of the battery of their Galaxy S7 of over 70% in just 3 hours. The situation is, therefore, extremely annoying. The problem would have been encountered in the application of Oculus VR, the app which oversees the use of the smartphone within the viewers for the virtual reality. In particular, the bug would have been detected in a new component of the app called "Oculus Rooms". With the new update, the app Oculus VR would enter into a continuous loop where it would continue to be discharged and to reinstallarsi all the time. This infinite loop would cause a very high CPU usage and, consequently, the increase of the temperature of the phone and the simultaneous consumption abnormal battery.
there is A fix to this problem will come only with the release of a new update of the app. For the moment, to solve the root of the problem, the only thing to do is to remove the application from your phone (Settings->Applications->application Management). However, this means having to use the viewer for virtual reality, until it will be solved the problem, but at least the smartphone will return to run regularly.
