Samsung Galaxy Note 7, presented the new phablet: to unlock it … – The Messenger

It was one of the first “phablet ‘as such, a true hybrid between smartphone and tablet dedicated to productivity to use with the help of a stylus. Today, the Samsung Galaxy Note officially arrives in its sixth version, with an aesthetic more polished and even more “frivolous”, a more defined curved screen and a super-pen with which to manage the various features of the device.

Presented in New York, the Galaxy Note 7 (in the name so you jump at the foot of the number 6, presumably to keep up with Apple’s next smartphone, iPhone 7) is designed especially for the job without neglecting the entertainment. It takes some of the main features of what until today was the top range of the Korean company, the Galaxy S7: has a similar design, is completely waterproof (both the phone and the pen), and has the same cameras the rear 12 Mp Dual Pixel (which can shoot video in HDR) and a front 5 Mp.

the display Edge, a classic Samsung is one of the strong points of the device: it is a definitissimo Quad HD 5.7 inch curved Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2560×1440, very nice to see but perhaps a little ‘uncomfortable to use, especially with one hand, considering the large size.

Octa processor is a powerful 64-bit core with 4 gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory is 64 gigabytes, expandable with microSD up to 256 Gb. The battery from 3,500 mAh, can be quickly recharged either via wire or a wireless system. Farewell to the Micro-USB port: even the Galaxy Note 7, as all new mobile devices, mounts a USB-C port.

The real news, however, relate to the nib and privacy. Let’s start with the latter: in addition to the scanning of fingerprints, the Galaxy Note 7 also features a new iris recognition system that can be used to unlock the screen and access to protected content. Which finally brings in the daily reality technology became popular with science fiction film: it will be possible to use the phone without touching it, as it will be enough to unlock him.
 

But if there’s one thing that makes the different notes from other phones, it is its S Pen stylus. The one that comes with the Galaxy Note, with a renewed and a smaller tip design, has a number of new features, including “Always on memo”, which allows you to write down useful information very quickly on the display in standby, ie without having to unlock the screen. Then there is a function of “smart selection”, which allows you to create and share gif, and another of “Air Command” in which larger portions of the screen and translate texts very quickly. Finally, with the new Samsung Notes app, you can organize notes, sketches and drawings that are achievable in any condition, as the S Pen works even if your mobile screen is wet.

The last note concerns’ aesthetic: Galaxy Note 7, as well as in classic black colors (onyx Black) and silver (titanium silver), is also available in light blue (Blue coral). It will be available as from 2 September at an MSRP of 879 €.

Galaxy Note 7 is compatible with the new viewer Gear Vr and Gear 360, the 360 ​​degree camera.
