Samsung Galaxy Note 7: The display could easily get scratched – Investing Today

While waiting for its release on the Italian market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 , undoubtedly the most anticipated Android smartphone of the second part of 2016, he underwent a series of tests to verify, even before the performance, durability, resistance to knocks and scratches and to test the new Gorilla glass 5, the new evolution of ultra-resistant glass which debuts on the right phone market with the new Note 7.

the result of the tests, reported in the video from Youtube channel JerryRigEverything is positive although some aspects of the Galaxy Note resistance 7 leave some doubt. The new Gorilla Glass 5, in fact, while ensuring an even greater shock resistance seems to be more inclined than the Gorilla Glass 4 that we find, for example, on Galaxy S7, scratch.

analogous problem also for the fingerprint sensor (non-coated glass), integrated in the Home key, which stops working, unlike some of smartphone rivals readers, precisely because of the scratches. The Galaxy Note 7 passes, however, with flying colors the now inevitable Bend Test, that is the test that tests the resistance to bending of the metal casing of the smartphone. You can take a look at the tests performed on the Galaxy Note 7 in the video below here .

Recall that the new Galaxy Note 7 , currently only available in preorder , it will be marketed in Italy starting next September 2nd. The list price of the smartphone will be well 879 Euro . On the Italian market, the Notes 7 will come in three different colors (Blue Coral, Titanium Silver and Black Onyx) but in a single hardware configuration of the Exynos 8890 processor features (the same Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge), 4 GB RAM memory and 64 GB of internal storage. The operating system will be Android 6.0.1 version with marshmallows in a future update to Android 7.0 Nougat which should arrive later this year.
