The Galaxy S7 Active will be announced June 10. The date has been confirmed by sources of VentureBeat who revealed the full specifications of the rugged smartphone . Contrary to what is suggested above, the new model will have the same screen of the Galaxy S7, but overall dimensions further, both because of the protections against impact that the more capacious battery. As expected, the device will be exclusive operator AT & T in the US.
The Galaxy S7 Active will have a design similar to that of the Galaxy S6 Active. The smartphone’s thickness, however, will increase from 8.6 to 9.9 mm , while the weight from 170 to 185 grams. This increase is mainly due to the battery, whose capacity will grow by about 15%, from 3,500 mAh to 4,000 mAh . There will be instead a larger screen, because Samsung will use a panel 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels), such as the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S6 Active.

The hardware includes a Snapdragon processor 820, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory, expandable with microSD cards. On the front three physical buttons are visible. Under the middle there should be a fingerprint reader. The operating system is obviously Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz interface.
