About three weeks ago had appeared online the alleged specifications of the Galaxy C5 , one of the three models in the new series that Samsung is expected to announce later this month. They come from other sources now confirm the characteristics, along with some pictures that reveal the design of the device. The Korean manufacturer would have planned the launch of three smartphone Galaxy C to counter the rise of Chinese companies.
The Galaxy C should take the place of the old Galaxy that had a frame aluminum (for 2016 models were used the same materials of the Galaxy S). As you can see from the pictures, the Galaxy C5 has a pretty similar design to that of HTC One M7 / M8 / M9 (at least for the back). Next to the camera module, a dual LED flash, while on the front there is the ubiquitous home button that, almost certainly, hides a Fingerprint Reader . The buttons for power and volume are positioned, respectively, on the right and left sides.
The alleged specifications are those of a medium to high-end smartphones: display 5.2-inch with full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), octa core processor Snapdragon 615 or Snapdragon 617, 4 GB of RAM , from 16:08 megapixel cameras. It is not known the storage size, but is unlikely to be less than 32 GB, it will be absent if the microSD slot. Little doubt about the installed operating system: Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz interface.
There is no information on price and availability, but at least in the first weeks, the smartphone should be a ‘exclusive of the Chinese market.
