For the Samsung marketing reasons it seems to want to blow up the number 6: The next notes will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 7
The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 , the popular phablet sixth series of Samsung, may never see the light, at least not with this name: the company in Seoul could move directly to version 7 calling the next phablet “Galaxy Note 7″ even though it is only the sixth version. According to reports from ETNews, the reasons are purely marketing: the company believes that potential buyers may have the feeling that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is a product already passed by other flagship devices such as the Galaxy S7, having a higher model numbers and next to an ideal Galaxy Note 6. Although it may seem trivial, it is likely that some inexperienced users can get confused in the plethora of Samsung devices, sensing the number model as a pure sign of progress, without distinguishing between Notes 6 or S7. Usually however the series notes, the first device that has historically marked the birth of the segment of the phablet, Galaxy S is an evolution of the previous version and this time Samsung would want to ensure that users perceive this relationship between the two models in number. According to the rumors Samsung Galaxy Note 7 may have a display of 5.8-inch AMOLED display, processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 or Exynos 8890, 6 GB RAM, 12-megapixel main camera, USB socket Type C, resistance to water and powder and 4,000 mAh battery. Also could be the first notes with a curved screen (like the Galaxy S Edge) with the ability to interact with it with the stylus. As usual, the device will be presented next autumn, to challenge the new iPhone directly.
