ClearForce technology for the Samsung Galaxy S7? – Webnews

Samsung has recently introduced three new Galaxy S6 (classic, edge and edge +), but has already started the design of the successor. The Galaxy S7 should be announced in early 2016, before the usual date of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Although there are still several months to the official launch, the “rumor machine” was set in motion and has produced some interesting information, including the use of technology ClearForce.

Galaxy S7 could be the first smartphone from Samsung with screen pressure sensitive . The new iPhone from Apple and the 6s Mate S Huawei integrate similar technology, referred to as 3D Force Touch and Touch. The latter, in particular, is present only on the 128GB model (not yet available on the market), and uses the controller ClearPad 3700 Synaptics , the same one that will probably be adopted by Samsung.

The technology ClearForce allows you to perform some unique features, such as variable speed scrolling, unlocking the smartphone and the “side touch” (tapping on the sides of the display). The Galaxy S7 should have a display of 5.2 or 5.8-inch with Quad HD or Ultra HD resolution. It is unknown, however, the combination of size and resolution, or which model will be “dual edge”. Instead almost certain the presence of 3 or 4 GB of RAM and up to 128GB of flash memory UFS 2.0.

Last week there was some rumors about the processor. The Korean manufacturer had decided to integrate three different SoC, according to destination countries: Snapdragon 820 in China and the United States, Exynos 8890 in Europe, Japan and Korea Exynos 742 in India. The final choice will be made in the coming months, so everything could change until the official announcement.
