Samsung has kicked off the release of a new software update based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The update, so far available only for Polish users , has been extended to Spanish users. The previous build, G900FXXU1BNL7, has been updated and optimized: the new version is license plate G900FXXU1BNL9.

As reported by XDA the update is currently available via OTA for all Spanish users and may soon be extended to other European nations. The date of the official rollout could coincide with the first two weeks of January. After the Galaxy S5, another top of the range affected by the update to Android 5.0 will be the Galaxy Note 4.
