Corning Incorporated has revealed through an official press release the name of the first model of smartphone equipped with protection Gorilla Glass 4 .
It is specifically the Samsung Galaxy Alpha , whose display is covered with a layer of new product just fine 0.4 mm .

Over 40 manufacturers chose Gorilla Glass for a total of 1395 models and 3 billion of product units overall .
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has the operating system Android 4.4 KitKat and is equipped with a display Super AMOLED 4.7 “HD processor octa-core Exynos with four cores at 1.8GHz and four cores at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, network support LTE-A , a front camera from 2.1 megapixel , a rear 12 megapixel and a battery from 1860mAh .
