Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Android 5.0 Lollipop: comes the first ROM … – International Business Times Italy

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 finally embraces the first Android 5.0 ROM Lollipop (almost) official. This is a test ROM leaked on XDA coming officially by Samsung and destined for the international version of the Galaxy Note 3 32 GB, N9005, with Snapdragon CPU.

The firmware issue is identified with the following numbers: N9005XXUGBNL8. Below is the procedure to install the firmware via Odin.

WARNING : Currently not been made known procedures to return to the official version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. So we recommend that you install this update only to those who do not have the patience to wait for the official version.

FIRST STEP .

-Scaricate the ROM at THIS link.

-Scaricate Odin at THIS link.

SECOND STEP .

Start the terminal in download mode: from phone off, press and hold down the volume down, home and power until you see a screen warning. At this point dunks the volume up key to enter download mode. Connect your smartphone to your PC and start Odin. Verify that the program has recognized the smartphone checking that the door ID: COM is associated with a number and color changes. If you have problems with this step is necessary to install, again, the driver of the Galaxy.

Once you have downloaded all the files needed initiated Odin, unpack the ROM and enter the various files in Odin. WARNING : be sure to use the file .pit if you have an international Notes 3 (N9005) with 32 GB (in Italy were sold pretty much just this type of variants). For added security, please refer to the screenshot above.

Select the items Auto Reboot, Re-Partition and F-Reset, dates start the process by pressing Start.
