Are the days of ‘ iPhone 6 (all the news – Pictures – Our video “hands-on”). AN INTRODUCTION – The new iPhone comes with the usual fanfare reserved to the outputs of Apple in a market where competitors to Apple certainly not lacking. How to choose the right phone? BAND LOW AND VERY LOW – But in many cases you can save without too many regrets. A textbook case of 2013 was the Moto G , with € 199 smartphone from which Motorola is back in the spotlight thanks to a surprising value for money. In the end super-economic, to keep an eye on the Franco-Chinese Alcatel OneTouch and Wiko : the first with the new Pop 2 (coming soon, price to be determined) that take the place of a lot of models sold as Pop C5 and C7 (today there are from 129-139 euro), the second with the new Birdy and Kite coming with support 4G to below 150 euro.
HIGH-END – At the other end of the market there are top of the range, where Samsung will challenge Apple the whole field with the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Alpha 4. The first is the new version of the phone that kicked off the fashion of the extra-large screens, which even Apple has now adequate. A 799 euro offers a blend of power and practicality, thanks to the now patented S-Pen, the “nib” digital handwriting, drawings and notes. The display goes up to 5.7 inches. Alpha Galaxy is the first smartphone instead of the Koreans to use “noble” materials (metal) in the body and screen size more content: with its 4.7-inch screen will compete directly with the new iPhone 6 will be output in Italy in the coming weeks to 699 euro. IFA in Berlin have impressed even the news of Sony. The Z3 (5.2-inch, 699 euro) and Z3 Compact (4.6-inch, 499) are “brothers” with a few differences, dimensions separately. But in this price range our advice is to look at the last year’s top of the range: excellent smartphone like HTC One (which we had elected our “smartphone of 2013″), LG or Samsung G2 S4, for which you really popping prices interesting.
NOSTALGIC KEYBOARD – Out of every logic of the current smartphones will instead be the BlackBerry Passport , which will be unveiled in London September 24th. BB 10.3 system, unique design (a “tile” a very large, almost square), the technical specifications of interest (4.5-inch display, 1440 x 1440 pixels, 453 ppi, Gorilla Glass 3; Snapdgragon 800 cpu, 3 GB Ram + 32 GB storage) target and decided on the world of work.
