According to a new report from Korea, Samsung have plans to launch a Galaxy S5 with a Quad HD resolution screen, a fingerprint reader and a scanner for the recognition of the retina . Should be precisely these features that characterize the next top end of the range, whose launch is scheduled for the month of March or April at the latest.
It seems, then, that Samsung will be the first smartphone makers to adopt a panel resolution 2560 × 1440 pixels , a device that would ensure its incredible quality of the images on the screen. To offer an example, this is the same resolution as a 27-inch iMac, however, is not known what will be chosen by the diagonal for the display of the Galaxy S5, although should not exceed 5 inches so as not to let the terminal in direct competition with those of the range Galaxy Note.
BGR says that South Korea is preparing the house two variants of the Galaxy S5, with a premium metal body: that would make it aesthetically similar to the acclaimed HTC One, and the other was standard, with the Traditional plastic shell. The other technical features should provide a proprietary processor to 64-bit, 3GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery, which would ensure a good range of use.
It also seems that there is a great possibility that the next Galaxy S5 can also be equipped with a reader for the recognition of the retina and another for reading of fingerprints, which would allow access specific functionality of the device with the eyes and with one finger . In addition, therefore, a feature similar to the one introduced by Apple with the iPhone 5S, Samsung could also launch a further innovation in this field.
Currently it is believed that Samsung will introduce the phone at the Mobile World Congress 2014 event which will take place in February in Barcelona. The market release should instead be done by March or April, together with that of the Galaxy smartwatch Gear 2.
