Samsung and Android 4.4 KitKat: available in January for the Galaxy S4 ... - International Business Times Italy

Engineers Samsung they would be testing some versions of Android 4.4 KitKat for Galaxy S4 Notes and 3 to proceed to the next release scheduled for January. This rumor dates back to last month, when a source close to the Korean company released an internal document (that which we have attached above) reported that the month of release for each of the build KRT16 top of the range. Today comes another confirmation of that document.

The French mobile operator SFR, with an article published on its website, has revealed that the holders of the two terminals, the latest release of the mobile operating system Google , it will come right in between the end of January and the beginning of the following month. This is not the first time that the reporter from the website of the French revealed in advance the timing of release of updates. The last one, in fact, in order of time, concerns the update to Android 4.4 for the G2 LG KitKat. Also scheduled for January.

For older devices, however, as the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 will have to wait until spring 2014. With the hope of not witness the release of updates malfunctioning like that of Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 which, just now, as we reported in this article, is available in a version optimized able to do justice to the experience user.

On

information revealed by SFR, however, we can not ensure the authenticity, but if they were to be officially confirmed believe that the above dates do not represent a span of time waiting exaggerated. The new TouchWiz, in fact, more and more heavy, feature-rich, it is not easy to optimize.
