Samsung Galaxy S8, virtual reality with 4K screen? – Webnews

While the expected increases for the official launch of the Galaxy Note 7, from China come to rumors about the future Galaxy S8 that should be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2017. The source confirmed the leaked information a month ago about the screen resolution. For the new model is expected to display 4K for virtual reality.

During the Google I / O in May, the Mountain View company had presented Daydream, a platform developed specifically for the virtual reality . To offer a high quality and viewing low-latency content will be needed high-end smartphones with certain specifications (processor, sensors and display). One of Google’s partner is of course Samsung, which will support Daydream with the Galaxy S8 . Not by chance, the name in the smartphone code is Project Dream.

The Korean manufacturer has already shown publicly a 5.5-inch panel with a resolution of 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels ), specifically designed for virtual reality. It is therefore very likely that this screen is used for the Galaxy S8. As regards, however, the processor is conceivable the presence of a Snapdragon 830 , the first SoC Qualcomm made to 10 nanometers with support for 8 GB RAM.

the news on the upcoming top of the range are few and unreliable. They will surely have more certainty in the fourth quarter, when the so-called “rumor machine” is up and running.
