Along with the Galaxy J2 (2016), Samsung presented the Galaxy J Max . Already from the name you can guess that this smart phone has a large screen. But perhaps few imagined that the phablet will have an integrated 7-inch display ! Probably in India (where it will be on sale by the end of July) prefer a similar device rather than a tablet with LTE connectivity.
The Galaxy J Max is a lower-middle-end model with plastic frame (from the picture It may seem like metal). The 7 inch screen obviously allows easy viewing of multimedia content. Unfortunately, its resolution is too low ( 1280 × 720 pixels ). Among other things, the panel is not Super AMOLED, such as that of the Galaxy J2 (2016), but only TFT. The hardware also includes a 1.5 GHz, supported by 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB flash memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 200 GB quad core processor.
The rear camera has a resolution of 8 megapixel camera with f / 1.9, LED flash and optical image stabilization (OIS), while for the front a 2-megapixel sensor has been chosen with an aperture of f / 2.2. Connectivity is provided by WiFi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and LTE (dual SIM). The 4000 mAh battery provides up to nine hours.
The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow . Samsung has added some apps and services, such as Ultra Data Saving Mode Opera Max and S Bike mode. The size of this “giant” are 186.9 × 108.8 × 8.7 mm. The Galaxy J Max will be available in black and gold at a price of 13,400 rupees, or about 180 Euros.
