Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone Android belonging to medium-low. As it can be assumed, the Galaxy Wide does not offer the advanced features of the series Galaxy S. However, the price seems rather high compared to similar competitive models. The Korean manufacturer still highlights the generous size of the screen, the photo features and the ability to remove the battery.
The description of the smartphone on the official website does not include any reference to the materials used for the frame, but looking at the pictures you can imagine a metal frame and a plastic cover. The Galaxy Wide has a normal TFT screen 5.5 inch HD resolution (1280 × 720 pixels) and integrates a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor at 1.2GHz, accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 128 GB. The 13-megapixel rear camera with f / 2.1 aperture and LED flash allows you to record video at 1080p and can be quickly activated by double-tapping the Home button.
The 5 megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 instead it offers two useful features: wide selfies lets you take pictures with a wide angle 120 degrees, while Palm selfies you can take a selfie with the recognition of the hand. Connectivity is provided by WiFi 802.11b / g / n chip, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and LTE. The battery has a capacity of 3,000 mAh.
Size and weight are 151.8 × 77.5 × 8.2 mm and 171 grams. The operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow . The Galaxy Wide is available in two colors (black and white) at a price of 319,000 won, or about 248 Euros. Hardly this smartphone will be distributed in Europe.
