Samsung will announce tonight the new Galaxy A9 (2016) . These are rumors from China, and reported from the site SamMobile, the fourth model in the series that includes the Galaxy down A3 (2016), A5 (2016) and A7 (2016), presented earlier this month. The design and specifications have been revealed by TENAA, the certification body of China.
The Galaxy A9 (2016) obviously has a similar design to that of the “little brothers” with a frame aluminum and glass . Instead it grows the size of the screen ( 6 inches ), while the resolution is the same as Galaxy A7 (2016) and A5 (2016), or 1920 × 1080 pixels. The hardware also includes a processor core octa Snapdragon 652 (the new name of the Snapdragon 620), 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory, expandable with microSD cards. The rear camera has a resolution of 13 megapixel camera with f / 1.9 and optical image stabilization, while the front integrates an 8-megapixel sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) supports LTE networks and offers Fingerprint Reader , hidden under the home button, which can be used to make mobile payments with Samsung Pay . The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh. Size and weight are 161.7 × 80.9 × 7.4 mm and 200 grams, respectively.
The operating system is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop , personalized with the ‘TouchWiz interface. The Galaxy A9 (2016) will be available in two colors (black and gold). It is not known when the phablet will be marketed in Europe, or the selling price.
