Samsung has presented the new Galaxy (2016) . The three smartphones retain the same build quality of previous models and offer a number of improvements in terms of design, functionality and hardware equipment. The Galaxy A3 (2016) , Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) will be available in Italy from January 2016. The Korean manufacturer did not disclose the price, but are assumed digits between 329 and 469 euro, varying by country and taxes in force.
The three Galaxy (2016) inherit some features from the Galaxy S6 . Samsung has adopted a similar design and chose the same premium materials (aluminum and glass). There was also reduced the thickness of the frame to provide greater viewing area. The Galaxy A7 (2016) has a 5.7-inch screen with full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) and a built-octa-core processor at 1.6 GHz, supported by 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB is flash memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 128 GB. Same processor for the Galaxy A5 (2016) , but the diagonal of the screen and the amount of RAM down to 5.2 inches and 2 GB.
For both models, the rear camera 13 megapixel has lenses with aperture f / 1.9 and the optical image stabilization, while the front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. Connectivity is provided by WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, ANT +, NFC, LTE Cat. 6 and micro USB 2.0. In addition to classic sensors (accelerometer, compass, proximity, ambient light, and Hall effect), the Korean manufacturer has integrated a fingerprint reader that can be used for mobile payments with Samsung Pay technology (MST) . The batteries have a capacity of 3300 mAh (A7) and 2900 mAh (A5).
Galaxy A3 (2016) has a 4.7-inch screen with HD resolution ( 1280 × 720 pixels) and integrates a quad core processor at 1.5 GHz, supported by 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards. The cameras have the same resolution, but the rear one does not have the optical stabilization. This model also lacks the fingerprint reader and the module supports only LTE networks Cat. 4. The battery has a capacity of 2300 mAh. The operating system installed on the three smartphone is Android 5.1 Lollipop , personalized with the familiar user interface TouchWiz.
Italian prices are not known. In some European countries the A7 Galaxy (2016), A5 (2016) and A3 (2016) should be sold at 469 euro, 399 euro and 329 euro, respectively.
