Samsung Galaxy J7 in India with Exynos 7580 instead of S615 … – HDblog (Blog)

Yesterday, Samsung officially announced two new devices Series J, Galaxy J5 and J7 Galaxy, also India , a distance of about a month from China. It turned out that the wider Galaxy J7 mounts a SoC different from that of the Chinese variant, a Exynos 7580 instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615.

Technically the two chips do not differ greatly, both are octa-core, and exploit the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. The GPU is rather different, of course: Adreno 405 for Qualcomm, ARM Mali-T720 MP2 for Exynos.

Despite the similarity, we got to see the benchmark Galaxy S5 Neo as the solution of Samsung will be able to beat easily Qualcomm is testing single-core than in the multi-core | The first benchmark of Galaxy S5 Neo show interesting results for Exynos 7580 |. It must be said that the benchmarks were referring to a processor clocked at 1.60 GHz, while in the case of Galaxy J7 you stop at 1.5 GHz.

Hard to decide which version will arrive in Europe, even though visas the former is easier to assume that with Snapdragon. The rest of the features are the same.
