Apple can wait. Samsung has an emergency urgent to be backed up: it comes from the east and by the name of all the producers – Xiaomi Huawei from OnePlus Oppo – in recent months, eroding significant market share in China and elsewhere.
For the Korean giant is time ( re) start churning out terminals from the great value for money , as a return to basics for a company that recently had focused most of his attention on the high-end market. Hence the decision to imbandire a new product table – sharing the code A Galaxy – with a design quite well made (with metal inserts and very small thickness), resources, well-balanced and affordable prices. Founders of this new breed of smartphones “substance” are the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 , the two devices, respectively, 4.5 and 5 inch running Android 4.4.
Samsung Galaxy A3
The smallest of the new models of the middle class of a device Samsung is rather thin ( 6.7 mm , the thickness of the new iPhone 6) whose design is clearly inspired by the Galaxy Alpha, the first smartphone from the Korean manufacturer of metal. The Galaxy A3 is mostly a handy device: weight (110 grams) and the “square footage” is not too much of the screen (which is based on a AMOLED panel 4.5 inches and 560 x 940 pixel resolution) make it a potential best-seller for all those users who want a phone easy to handle in one hand. In terms of hardware equipment, the new Samsung Galaxy A3 is distinguished by the presence of a quad-core 1.2 GHz (1 GB RAM), a dual camera (rear 8 megapixel rear 5), LTE connectivity, Bluetooth support Smart, NFC and 1900 mAh battery . The operating system is Android 4.4 (Kit Kat).
Samsung Galaxy A5
More of the catalog we find the Samsung Galaxy A5 , smartphones even thinner ( 6.7 mm thickness) which takes the same form-factor of the Galaxy A3 but with a hint of pepper in more at the level of the display and performance. The screen is here 5 inches (1280 x 720 resolution), but the rest of the hardware equipment stand 2 GB of RAM, the 13-megapixel rear camera and the battery of 2,300 mAh. Confirm, for the rest, all the resources of the Galaxy A3 processor (quad-core 1.2 GHz) to conettività (LTE Cat. 4, Wi-Fi a / b / g / n, Bluetooth Smart, NFC), the front camera (5 megapixel camera with features Wide Selfie, Rear cam Selfie and Beauty Face) to the operating system (Android 4.4 Kit Kat).
Samsung has not yet revealed the Price: or officers of the Galaxy A3, A5 or the Galaxy, but it seems very likely that tag well below the threshold of 500 Euros. The first rumors speak of a position in the phasic 400-450 € .
