Galaxy S II is, in the opinion of this writer, the Samsung model that owes its success. The first I’ve really believe iPhone users switching to Android, and more generally the one where Samsung has built the foundations of his empire, now in the process of reorganization.
As we have therefore evolved in the meantime Samsung, or rather its interface TouchWiz , from the time of this “historical” device to date? To answer this question we put side by side S II and S5 , the past and the present Samsung, in an attempt to understand a little ‘what the future holds.

Having used both the Galaxy S5 Notes 4, and then the latest versions of TouchWiz, we expected a bit ‘of disorientation in taking up a model so old, in fact, the differences are less than expected, net of course all the new applications and features added by Samsung, which logically placed S5 a completely different level.
However, if we limit ourselves to the basic interface and app that is common to both models, the similarities between the two smartphones are very many home is pretty much the same, with the same Dock and almost the same icons for most of the apps pre-installed. Telephone, clock, calculator and address book are not identical but there should be very close, and the different setting of ‘ app drawer is due more to the natural evolution of Android that is not something introduced by Samsung. Further distinctions are in the Notifications and Settings , but in general it is clear that, from the aesthetic point of view, the TouchWiz is “staying young aged”, so that a user Galaxy S II would be easily at home by switching to S5.
The point is, however, much broader than that, and we rattled off properly in the following video. In the gallery you will find then a quick comparison between the main elements of the interface, net of most applications, so instead we have dedicated space in the movie. Ultimately, if in its “reinvention” of the Samsung Galaxy S6 remembered also the graphic we could not complain, but also that Android will probably Lollipop the hand.
