Samsung announces the Galaxy Pro A9 in China – Webnews

Samsung has unveiled China’s Galaxy A9 Pro , an Android phablet that an economic Galaxy Note (no stylus) could be considered. The new device will then complete the catalog of the Galaxy A series that already includes four models (A3, A5, A7 and A9) presented in December. The smartphone’s design is identical to that of the Galaxy A9, but there are some hardware differences.

The Galaxy A9 Pro has an aluminum frame and a 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels). The hardware also includes an octa-core Snapdragon 652 1.8GHz processor, paired with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards up to 128 GB. The Korean manufacturer has therefore added 1 GB of RAM than the Galaxy A9. Even the already large battery capacity (4000 mAh) was increased to 5,000 mAh (with fast charging support), thus ensuring even greater autonomy.

Samsung also enhanced cameras. To the rear a 16-megapixel sensor has been selected, while the front has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Users who purchase the Galaxy A9 must wait to deploy the latest version of the operating system. A9 on the Galaxy Pro, however, is already available Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow , personalized with the note TouchWiz interface.

The connectivity is ensured by traditional WiFi 802.11b / g / n module, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and LTE. The Home button, positioned between two capacitive buttons, hide the Fingerprint Reader . The Galaxy A9 Pro, offered in three colors, costs about $ 540. It is not known if and when it will be marketed in other countries.
