One of the most important fairs on the technology is taking place in Barcelona, we speak of the Mobile World Congress, which began on February 22 and will end on 25th of the month. The day before this event, two of the most important of phone manufacturing companies, Samsung and LG , respectively, have launched the Galaxy S7 and G5. While the first had already made official by the time the date of presentation of the new device, made outcry LG’s strategy to bring forward the (initially scheduled in May) on the same day Samsung, considering the G5 a device capable to compete with the most famous Galaxy S7. The innovations that stand out in the new G5 definitely relate to the camera : the rear is 16 megapixel (against 12 megapixel S7) while the front is 8 megapixels (compared to the 5 megapixel S7). Each pixel has three sub-pixels, and this peculiarity makes the best picture quality and sharper compared to the competitor. The laser autofocus and the dual lens camera complement the excellent quality of LG regarding the photos. The display is slightly bigger than S7 (5.3 vs. 5.1 inches), and both download (600MBits / s vs 450MBits / s) that uploads (150MBits / s vs 50MBits / s) are significantly faster than Samsung.
Advantages Samsung Galaxy S7
the new S7 has excellent battery with 3000 mAh (against the 2800 G5) and a considerably faster processor (4 x 2.15GHz vs 4 x 2.1GHz), a internal memory more basic than the G5 (64 GB vs 32 GB). Structurally is smaller, narrower and lighter. The display is a Super Amoled , unlike traditional LCD G5. As for the camera, faster autofocus and video light to offer excellent video recordings, also interesting with dual LED flash. Another innovative technology is the IP68 certificate , which proves the water and dust resistance of the device. Another advantage not to be underestimated is that, in case of purchase of Galaxy S7, Samsung gives free the Gear VR viewer for virtual reality, now used for gaming, but that in the future may also become important for the company.
