In this sense, the technical improvements made in recent years have been enormous: the sensors that provide a resolution to double digits (in megapixels) are now a standard not only on top of the line , but also on smartphones that could be called low-end, at least as regards the price.
The presentation of LG G Flex 2 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is a great excuse to go back to talk about this issue so important. And we’ll do it with a comparison with two of the most important devices among those released in the past year, namely the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus, the first phablet from Apple. The main technical features of the cameras of the three devices (which we will analyze more carefully below) are summarized in the table below.

Looking at the specifications it seems clear that we are in the presence of three smartphone definitely top from this point of view, although as everyone knows the specifications will not say all of a device, let alone when it comes to cameras.

What is still the most” mysterious “between smartphones we take into consideration today is obviously the LG G Flex 2, since it was presented by only a few days. The technical equipment of the camera device South Korean does not seem to differ much from what you can find on board the LG G3 , in particular for optical image stabilization and the system focus laser .
Not that this is bad, since the current top of the line company in Asia has left very satisfied customers from this point of view, but LG claims to have worked also some important improvements in interaction hardware / software .

Of the cameras iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 we discussed extensively in recent months, also compares them: Korean smartphone is equipped with a camera with 16 megapixel sensor , with optical image stabilization, autofocus, Touch to focus, LED flash and f / 2.0 aperture.
The first phablet Apple responds with a sensor backlit 8-megapixel , with pixels from 1,5μ; autofocus with Focus Pixels; diaphragm aperture ƒ / 2.2; True Tone flash; five-element lens; lens coating sapphire crystal.
Both devices have the optical image stabilization , which in addition to taking pictures less moves also allows you to improve the quality of photos with light ottimale.Questo not, however, appear more true with regard to the Notes 4, which in general seems to be able to capture more detail, with colors more “alive” and natural. While this may be partly due to the sensor with double resolution (16 MP against MP 8), there is no denying that the phablet Asia is equipped with a camera of the highest level.

It is difficult at the moment to give a full assessment of the camera of the LG G Flex 2 without having been able to prove: PhoneArena has made a short test directly to the LG booth at CES 2015, making comparison shots made by the new smartphone Asia with those obtained with a Samsung Notes 4 and 6 Plus with an iPhone.
If you want to judge decidedly provisional based on these shots you can certainly say that the work done by the camera of the LG G Flex 2 was great : images, made with the little light available through the stands of the Las Vegas Convention Center, appear brighter than those taken with the two “competitors”. Obviously you will need to wait for new evidence to be properly evaluated, but this first little test seems to be satisfactory.
