Siena Airport: the Galaxy Fund proposes settled out of court – The Citizen Online

SIENA. The proposed agreement, made by the shareholder Galaxy to close the dispute out of court on the share to be paid was approved yesterday by the shareholders with the votes in favor of Banca MPS and Chamber of Commerce, the abstention of the Province of Siena the Sovicille and voting against the City of Siena. In the coming days the settlement agreement will return to the hands of the liquidator Marco Tanini for the final signing which will avoid the de facto bankruptcy of the company Siena Spa Airport.

The 1.6 million euro proposed in the balance of the nine Galaxy million payable by the Fund will be used to pay private creditors who had already expressed their support to the agreement.

the process of arrangement in place for the Aeroporto di Siena Spa (which has managed the airport in Siena Ampugnano until October 2012 when it was put into liquidation) will be closed with the payment of € 1.6 million to other creditors shareholders: Banca Mps, Chamber of Commerce of Siena, Province of Siena, City of Siena and the City of Sovicille. The debt of the Galaxy Fund was linked to the entry into the company, in 2007, when to buy the majority shares had shed 3 of 12 mln foreseen.
