On the new phablet Samsung circulate many rumors, some of which are quite credible, others less. The Galaxy Note 6, expected in August, should be actually a Galaxy Note 7 and have a screen dual edge , as you can see in the pictures published by the famous leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks). According to other sources, the new smartphone will complement a rear dual camera lens .
Let’s start by first name. According to information coming from Korea, Samsung would have decided to “jump” a number for reasons of marketing. Users might assume that the Galaxy Note 6 has come to market before the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, because 6 is less than 7. The same could happen when the iPhone will be announced 7. That’s why the Korean manufacturer would choose the name Galaxy Note 7 . The second change concerns the design: the phablet will have a curved display on both sides . This will be the only version, so it will not submit a Galaxy Note 7 edge.
The Galaxy Note 7 should have a Super AMOLED screen 5.8-inch with Quad HD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels) and integrate a Snapdragon 823 processor and 6GB of RAM. In the images they clearly notice the S Pen stylus in its slot at the bottom right and the Type-C USB port . There is no trace instead of the double rear camera, which is rumored for some days. However certain the IP68 certification and the presence of a fingerprint reader (home button).
On the front different holes are visible beside the speaker. Three should be camera, light sensor and proximity sensor, while the others could be LED notification, flash, or scanners iris . Samsung has recently recorded the “Galaxy Iris” and “Galaxy Eyeprint” brands that perhaps refer to this biometric authentication technology. Another well-known leaker, Evan Blass, said the announcement of the phablet is scheduled for August 2 .
