The Samsung Galaxy S5, in contrast to what is reported in many leaked so far, will have on board the much-discussed iris scanners, nor a Quad-HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) : a confirmation in this regard came from a source inside the company reported by the New York Times. The screen of the successor of the S4 should indeed “stop” to 1920 x 1080. The Quad-HD will instead be a feature of LG G3, which will have a display of 5.5 “compared to 5.25″ Galaxy S5.

There are good chances that that the occasion for the official announcement of the Galaxy S5 . By contrast, as regards the arrival on the market, Samsung should stick to tradition: the last three devices in the Galaxy series were launched between April and May, and it is therefore likely that this is the case for the S5.
The G3 is expected to arrive in stores in May , and then the time difference between the two commercial launches would be very short in this case, putting the two devices in direct competition. For a comparison, according to analysts Koreans, will conclude in favor of LG. But that will not stand while Samsung will take the stage on the stage of the MWC in Barcelona.
LG would in fact scheduled for this month to launch its own G Pro 2 , heir to the appreciated by critics (not by consumers, given the sales of below expectations) LG G2. The year has just begun, but the challenge between the two South Korean giants seems to be just the beginning.
