the family of Samsung Galaxy J last year came so only fragmentary but it looks like this ‘year, the Korean company will be more decisive in this price range with a broader family of products, including Galaxy also J3 (2016), also known as Galaxy J36.

Construction and Ergonomics
the 2016 version of Galaxy J3 has a simple design and which draws in large part the product line of the previous year with a front of two different colors, the physical center button and a rounded back enough and made enough light plastic that does not particularly holds the footprints. Overall the grip is good and despite the rounded shapes also not particularly slippery by using it with one hand.
Hardware
Samsung has chosen for this Galaxy J36 (where 6 stands for 2016) Spreadtrum SC7731 processor quad core 1.5GHz and Mali 400 MP GPU. The amounts to 1.5 GB RAM while the internal memory is 8 GB expandable via microSD. Connectivity is LTE up to 150 Mbps , while Wi-Fi is only a single band b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.1. Also the NFC and FM radio, while unfortunately we will have to give up the LED notification, the brightness and notification LED sensor.

camera
the main camera is 8 megapixel and is equipped with a single lED flash. The photo quality is sufficient in almost all light conditions, but it is only with good light that photographs can really be reused. The front camera instead of 5 megapixels and video that can be recorded with the main camera is HD (1280 × 720 pixels). Among the additional features the software offers the HDR, photos and audio manual mode. Excellent opportunity to be able to open the camera with a double click of the home button.

Display
the screen of Galaxy J3 (2016) is a 5-inch SuperAMOLED HD resolution. The screen has bright colors, almost explosive. It is therefore pleasing in virtually any lighting conditions. Too bad that the display is not equipped with a sensor for automatic brightness adjustment to ambient light conditions. But the real problem is the display but unfortunately its very low oleofobicità: you will very often to clean the glass exterior of this J3.
Software
Android is updated to version 5.1.1 Lollipop and is customized with the proprietary interface of Samsung. Additional features that Samsung has introduced in this version of the firmware are not many, but if you like the operating system that Samsung has “set up” you still feel at home with some added practice (like the ability to edit themes) and all options that Samsung introduces the target area, but without frills (such as the multiwindows).
for the rest of the software is quite fluid (if not more when put under stress) and the ‘overall experience is positive. Among preinstalled apps from Samsung we have the file manager, security manager and an app for notes. well even the pre-installed browser of Samsung that offers good performance. For music you’ll have instead “fall back” on the app Google, however, pre-installed.
Autonomy
The battery 2600 mAh will take you to the time dinner if you make use of your smartphone is quite intense. It is a more than acceptable, but perhaps (since the hardware is not particularly powerful) we could have hoped for something more.
Price
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is marketed in Italy is around 170 €. We have purchased on Snapfish to 169 € an attractive price for the hardware, although there are still weaknesses not negligible so a more aggressive price would surely better positioned.
