At CES 2016 in Las Vegas drops a taboo in the world Samsung: The name Galaxy can also rigurardare not Android-based device. In fact, the Korean company unveiled the new Galaxy S TabPro, a tablet with keyboard (the classic convertible) that while belonging to the Galaxy family, in fact, is based on Windows 10. It’s the first time it happens.
The similarities and references to Microsoft Surface Pro are: obviously, if the first versions of Surface were not exactly a “blockbuster” (especially with Windows RT) is now clear that the Surface Pro 4 has reached a maturity that is making a “trend setter”, bringing Windows fully into the world of high-end tablet. Then all in all it was also one of the goals that Microsoft had promised when he introduced Surface, in fact the first Windows system is its production to exceed the prototype stage and to come to market as a finished product.

It has, however, a touch pad (which makes the device very similar, using, to a personal laptop traditional) and an antenna NFC: this is used to activate a series of automated connection between the tablet and a smartphone Galaxy S6 and later: just place the smartphone on the keyboard, for example, to connect the PC with the hotspot’s Wi-Fi phone in a completely automatic and without having to allocate a password. Il TabPro Galaxy S is based on an Intel Core M 6th generation (Skylake) and comes with 4 GB of RAM; two of cuts of SSD storage: a model 128 GB and one 256 GB. In addition to these variants, there is a version (more consumer) with only Wi-Fi and a more “business”, which also has the 4G modem integrated. Finally finishes available: black (with custidia black) and white (with white housing). The 5200 mAh battery is the (difficult to do more in 6.3 mm thick) and, thanks to the low power consumption of Intel, is able – according to statements of the house, feed the Galaxy S TabPro for over 10 hours; and – interestingly – recharges in just two and a half hours .. In terms of interfaces, we are in the era of rationalization, perhaps even too much: just like the MacBook 12 “, here we have only a USB Type C and jack for headphone minijack. The price is not yet known; however some information is leaked on the availability in our country is expected by March.
