Samsung has always been very adept at diversifying its portfolio of mobile products, adapting it according to the needs of consumers. If in the early years of presence in the smartphone industry the Korean giant has insisted almost exclusively in offering low-cost versions of the devices, with the passage of time and with the success of the brand Galaxy S , the leaders of the Asian company decided to provide greater choice to those who have access to a significant amount to spend. This year, Samsung will not only launch a variant enhanced in the hardware sector of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, but will satisfy all those who are clamoring for a greater focus in terms of build quality, with the introduction of the much anticipated rear aluminum instead of polycarbonate or leather-like cerottata. This model, known as Samsung Galaxy F , will be, in terms of release timing, performance and design, the real alternative to ‘ iPhone 6 for Apple, which will have to deal with to determine its success.

aesthetics first and foremost
As anticipated, the Galaxy S series, although it is considered by Samsung as its line “premium”, has always been at a disadvantage against the face of aggressive competition on the build quality. The Galaxy F aims to change this detrimental tradition, while not moving away from the very top of the current range of Korean society: the physical buttons, the Samsung logo, but also the fingerprint sensor placed below the Home button, the heart rate elevated and the rear camera will be part of the new “package”. The main difference, at least according to the rumors that leaked on the net, will be the use of brushed metal on the back, used to ensure better dissipation of heat internal hardware, while at the same time the pleasure to touch. The other strong point of the F version than the S5 “traditional” will be the front: the side frames to allow very thin AMOLED display to occupy a larger space, as happens for example in ‘ LG G3 . By doing so, Samsung may offer a more compact, despite the size of the panel 5.25 “used for this terminal. The AMOLED display on the Galaxy F not only gain a greater stage presence, but will be improved from the point of view of quality. The online reports are all in agreement on the resolution, which will be 2560×1440 pixels, but it’s brightness and color that will focus the eyes of the critics, and it seems that the improvements will become more apparent in the wake of the progress already shown with S5 Notes and 3 . The choice to focus on a Samsung display extremely “risoluzionario” could also have been caused by issues patriotic. At the moment, no competitor offers a first-tier smartphone has a screen size of this quality, except one, LG. The two corporations are both born in Korea, and the sales success of the G3 on the native soil is preccupando Samsung, which ran for cover with this Galaxy F.
Specifications
By date Release scheduled for the fall, Samsung will be able to equip the Galaxy F with the latest and most powerful chip manufactured by Qualcomm (rather than the octa-core Exynos range): the Snapdragon 805 , a quad-core 2.7 GHz supported by 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 420 GPU, clocked at 600 MHz. Compared to Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 we speak of a performance difference of 20% in terms of raw power and 40% with regard to graphics performance, necessary to sustain the high performance of the display. Samsung made its debut in the field of photographic sensors with the Galaxy S5: after years of addiction to Sony and other manufacturers, the Korean company has finally developed a proprietary technology, better known as ISOCELL , and has introduced a 16 megapixel sensor. At this point, it is very likely that the Samsung Galaxy F use the same photographic industry, probably with further improvements from the point of view of the image capture and the variety of effects applied in post-production, thanks to a faster processor powerful.
If all the rumors on the quad-HD display and quad-core processor 2.7 GHz trovassero correspondence in reality, the first thing that prospective buyers will be to take care of energy efficiency. To discard the possibility of using the 2800 mAh battery, which powers the S5; instead more likely to adopt a more powerful power supply unit from at least 3000 mAh, although this would require an optimization software and impeccable features, such as’ “Ultra Power Saving Mode” already seen on S5, to make the most . Improvements, albeit slight, are also expected in the operating system. In contrast to the Galaxy S5, which is equipped with Android 4.4.2 natively, this variant F will directly Android 4.4.3 , a graphical user interface Samsung TouchWiz made in, adapted to this version of the Google operating system. The presentation of Android L and its support for native 64-bit, however, could be a limitation, especially as the main objective of a device of this type is to provide everything that could not be include the S5 standard, to keep costs down. From this point of view, the idea of a terminal without compromising performance is already outdated, and since the outlay required to purchase this device and the arrival of the iPhone 6, things could get complicated for Samsung.
